Who We Are

Hussain Muhammad -Ali aka Dj Raw Heat is a film maker from New England who grew up in the the crime infested ghettos of Hartford, Connecticut, where the spot light for talent has never shined and opportunities for film making were slim to none in a 30% poverty rate. Hussain is committed to making his mark in the business as an Independent Film Maker equipped with an undying  passion and talent for story telling.

Hussain started in the business by making HipHop DVDs with his partner at the time DJ Bink B. These included Fat Joe, The LOX, Dane Dash, Akon, and many others. It was then that he began documenting Street Gangsters around the country and Gangsta Chroniclez was born.

From there, Hussain began writing screen plays, expanding his talent for storytelling. With his gritty style of crime ridden tales and creative eye, he has embarked on his latest work, a short film called Best Friends which he wrote, produced and directed in association with Mreck TV.

 
Hussain's company STREET ROYALTY Entertainment LLC will house all future endeavors. Hussain writes along with his partner Pam Lione who is a prolific novelist, producer and screenwriter.

STREET ROYALTY ENTERTAINMENT will tell the stories of disenfranchised so called "African Americans”, and their struggles to overcome poverty, crime, joblessness, dilapidated housing, inadequate education, and the consequences of bad choices from impaired decision making.
